St James Power Station....

I voted never to go back to St James again.

Decided to give St James a try since its the new kid in town. But.....its terrible.The music they spun sucks. They were playing remix R n B the whole night. Where on earth do clubs play remix R n B?? No wonder the cover charge was cheap compared to MOS and it was so easy to get their membership.

We gotta their membership simply by opening a bottle of Hennesy. They offered good privileges such as signing in 2 people for free and even up to 7 people when its your birthday. But even with the such good privileges I doubt any of us will be heading back.

The whole place was in a mess. Unlike MOS where all the rooms are connected, the rooms at St James were all disintegrated. One have to get out of one club and start to queue all over again at the main entrance of the other club to get in which was damn troublesome. They were supposedly to have 9 clubs at St James but I managed to find only 3- Dragonfly, Power station and the live band room which I forgotten the room name.

We left the place at 3 plus and headed to Chinatown for porridge.

Kelvin, thanks for the ride home which was totally unexpected.Guess you must be totally shagged out by the time you reached home.

BirthdAY party

Happy birthday to my beloved nephew, Xavier and niece ,Clarissa.

Attended the birthday party of these 2 birthday babies before heading down to Cathy house to catch a movie. Its been such a long time since I met up with my relatives and it felt great catching up with them.

The initial plan for the night was to catch A night at the museum at the Cathy House but it was fully booked by the time we reached there so we decided to proceed with our usual Friday activity-pubbing.

The plan was to go over to Sassy but since Ah Lai and Ah hao werent there yet we decided to look for Rene at Central first.While waiting for them the guys drank beer while we gals were busy taking pics with Rene's new phone. Shall post the pics when I get them from Rene.

The guys continued their drinking session at Sassy while we gals sang and played old maid.hehe. Edmund disappeared halfway thru the night and we were all discussing what he was up to. We knew the guys were right the moment he showed up with a china gal.

I pitied the gf. Having to work so hard yet the bf was fooling around. Why cant guys be contented with what they have?? hmm or maybe I shall rephrase my sentence.Why cant human be contented with what they have?? There are gals who fooled around too.But I believed thats the minority since gals are more committed when it comes to a relationship.Maybe like what other say- the grass on the other side is always greener.

Last Mambo of the year 2006

The last wednesday night of the year 2006 was spent partying away at Zouk. It was a last minute decision. Irene msged me in the evening while I was at work asking whether I wanna go mambo tonight. The gal has been craving for mambo for a long time. I accepted her invitation as its been months since I stepped into Zouk on a wednesday night and I have heard alot about the new mambo so I decided to try it on my own.

The queue was ridiculously long despite the rain. Theres queue everywhere.Even Velvet which normally has no queue at all experienced a long stretch of people queuing up for it that night. However we managed to get into the club in less than 15 mins through phuture though it had a full house sign at its door.

We went to look for Stephen and Timothy who were already inside with their friends. Both Zouk and Phuture were packed with people. Had a hard time walking around the place. Realised that theres still a long queue outside at around 1 plus so I asked the crew at the bag counter about the huge crowd tonight. She replied that its the last mambo of the year. I didnt realise that I was at the last mambo of 2006 until she mentioned it.

The music for the night was not purely retro theres still some house music. Perhaps its the last mambo of the year, the music they played was still the same old familiar songs. There wasnt any new mambo songs as mentioned by the others.

Learnt a few lessons that night.

Lesson no 1: Never wore a long sleeve to clubs coz u never know when its crowded and if its crowded you will be sweating like hell under ur long sleeve top. Thats what I experienced that night.

Lesson no 2: Never bring a huge bag along to any clubs coz u never know when the bag counter is full and have to end up carrying the bag which is very inconvience.

Lesson no 3: Gals, never step into the dance floor when u r drunk coz u will be swaying from left to right instead of dancing which will be a nuisance to the others and most importantly you will be taken advantage of.

Dun worry guys this wasnt what I experienced but observed that night. I am glad to say that I can still hold my liquor well and I know my drinking limits..=)

Nevertheless we did enjoyed ourselves despite the huge crowd and is considering of coming back next wednesday- The first mambo of 2007. =)

I dreamt of him again last night

But this time round we were having a fone conversation

But as my dream goes on he suddenly appeared in my dream

Just like the previous the dream

I woke up with a fright the moment he appeared in my dream

Thats the second time in a row

Perhaps it did signified something

My fear for him??

Awesome Weekend

My weekend was awesome. Its been such a long time since I enjoyed myself.No more lame excuses to avoid all those drinks and no more vomiting after the drinks. I can now drink to my content without any worries. Hmm maybe the only worry is get drunk...=p

Friday was spent in the company of Sebest,Kangwei,Xiufang,Kelly,Sunny,Colin,Edmund and Kelvin. I bumped into Kangwei while on my way to look for Sebest at Shin Ba. I brought him along to look for Sebest as he had no prog for the night. Stayed for half an hour before going over to DXO to look for the rest.

Friday night is ladies night for DXO. As usual, free entry and free flow of drinks for the ladies.$18 for guys and most importantly they played r n b the whole night. Great place to hang out on a Friday night. Eh seems like I'm advertising for DXO...hahaha

Clubbed again on Sat but this time round with Kangwei,Zhenyong, Stewart, Shirely and friends at MOS. Had fun there. Drinking, dancing and playing 5-10. Oh yar think my 5-10 improved coz I won Zhenyong consecutively.hehe. Enjoyed their company as they always never fail to cheer me up. Thanks guys.

Spent my Christmas eve singing away at KBOX with Xiufang, Colin and friends.

Christmas Day was a sleep in day for me as I only have a total of less than 8 hours of sleep for the past few nights and my long working hours for the past one week werent doing any good either. Thus theres a need for me to replenish my energy and since new year is less than a week away which means more partying therefore theres a need to get back in shape..=)

Thoughts

Its been a long time since my last entry. Went through a rough patch during this period.I never thought such thing would happen to me. But it did.I never once regret having it and I dun blame him for it.

Been through an emotion roller coast during this period.

A sense of disappointment was felt when the care and concern which you expected werent around when you most needed it.

Betrayal and hatred crept in when people start to turn the table around at you and when they chose to run away from a problem instead of facing it.

A moment of sadness was felt when someone whom is once dear to you start to question your character and motive for doing something. The most saddening thing was seeing some friendships weakened during this period.

Touched by the care and concern showered by people whom you never expect it.

I'm not too sure whether have I emerged as a stronger person from all these but I know I have to be strong for the sake of myself,my loved ones and particularly for the 2.

Unknowingly I have been acting responsibly for it though I knew jolly well the final verdict from day 1. Perhaps a special bond has secretly developed over time without my knowledge that I found it hard to let go. Its a tough decision. Afterall its the best thing to do. Was it???

I could feel the joy, excitement and happiness in me when I saw it for the very first time. This happiness was short lived. I wanted to back out at the very last minute. But I knew I cant. I couldnt be so selfish.Afterall I'm not the only party involved. I still have to take into account other people's feelings.

It might be over but neither of us was feeling good about it.I dun know how long will it take for us to get out of it but Its definitely something which will be carried with us forever and we will remember it dearly.

I never once regret having it but somehow I regret giving it up.

Was the decision a right one???

I hope so

You have emerged stronger this time round

And I thank you for that

Eventful Saturday

My sat was well spent.=)

The day started off with my product and brand management mid term test. Oh man, why do they have to arrange a test on Saturday? Hate coming to school on a Saturday morning. Saturday is meant to be sleep in!!!

Product and brand management project discussion was next. It seems like everyone in the class has decided to make full use of the fact that since we are down here on a sat for test we might as well have our project discussion. The canteen and the benches were filled with product and brand management people.

Its such a drag to be spending my Saturday morning in school but the gals made up for it. Discussions with them were never a bore and it was always lively and filled with our nonsense.

Rushed off to Nicholas place for tution after the discussion.

Met up with Wen in town after tution. She went to have her hair perm.She had a digital perm while mine was digital spa perm. The only difference lies in the word SPA.hehe.I think she looks good in her new hair look while she felt that she looks bimbotic. Nevermind gal, you will learn to love your new look. Trust me. =)

Had a late lunch at Far east. Went to a vegetarian cafe. Our dear gal has become a vegetarian so no choice have to accommodate her diet was feeling quite full so I didn't order any food except for a drink. Wen ordered some mee so noodle soup and it looked nice. Maybe I shall give it a try the next time round. Shopped around Far East for a while before we parted ways.

Went back to rest for awhile before meeting up with my cousins, Xiufang and Ah hao.

The night was spent at a pub at Clark quay with them. The pub has a chessy name, Sassy Pub. But the ambiance there made up for the chessy name. It was one of the nicest KTV pub I've been. The place has a very cosy design and the partons there are mainly young working adults unlike some KTV pubs where there were old uncles hanging around.Stayed there until 2 plus before proceeding to our next activity, Clubbing!!

Went down to Dragonfly, one of the clubs in ST James Power Station. Thanks to my dear cousin we couldnt get in as he was underage. The age limit for guys is 23. But the gals managed to slip in as we wanted to use the toilet. Made use of this opportunity to explore the place. The place is generally okie just that the crowd is abit old and its very inaccessible if you dun drive.

We decided to make a detour to Zouk. Zouk sucks big time on a Saturday. They played house and trance music and the music was really terrible that I ended up having gastric pain.Left the place at around 4. Supper was at Yishun BLK 848 before we headed home.

A bad start

Had a bad start today. Quarrelled with one of my HR project mate first thing in the morning.Spolit my mood. We have planned for our project meeting to take place this morning at around 11am as usual. But at 9am one of them msged to inform of the change of timing.It will be postponed to 5pm.

I couldnt make it in the afternoon as I have my tution arranged and so I msged back telling that I couldnt make it and heres the reply I got that made me damn pissed off.

"XXX instructed to put the meeting at 5pm and 5pm is compuslory as the presentation is on Friday.Please arrange your timetable to meet our timing. Attendance is compuslory."

What the hell.You are changing the timing last min and you expect me to rearrange my timetable to fit yours???What kind of logic is this??If you have told me of the changes earlier like last night, I would have gladly rearrange my timetable for you. I know as a matter of fact a last meeting before the presentation is important. But please dun make it sounds that I'm such an irresponsible person when I cant rearrange my timetable and make it for the last meeting. Hello, you msged me at 9am informing of the last min changes and where on earth can I contact my kids at such a timing?? They will be in school and furthermore one of my kid is having PSLE tml so theres no way I can rearrange my timetable. I'm sorry that I cant make it and please for godness sake dun ever make last min changes and expect everyone to be able to make it.Be more FLEXIBLE

Finally its Friday

Finally I dont have to go to school today!!!

Its the mid term break but I have been going back to school everyday since Monday except for today and I have been staying in school longer than my school days.Had been reaching school at around 11am almost everyday for project discussions staying until 4 plus.Stayed until almost 8pm yesterday.Can u believe that I had spent 10 hours in school during my holidays??Whats worst is that I have to run in between project discussions.Luckily I dont have to spend my friday in school.Thank god.

Went for eye brow trimming and underarm waxing this afternoon.This is the first time I'm doing underarn waxing.Went to Charme which is located at Far East Plaza.Had been going there regularly for my eye trimming.Love their services.

They have very good services there.They even helped me to pluck out those tiny weey hair that were left after the waxing.So xi xin.The pain from the waxing was bearable but the pain from the plucking were unbearable..But its worth it..=)

Its mahjong session again for tonight.They are still playing while I'm blogging away.
My cards for today were quite okie.In one of the game I have 4 animals and the best part was that I won!!!=) At least my luck is improving.Had been losing recently.Lady luck please come to me.

Oh yar went to MS that other day for site visit and I passed by MW,My once second home.Saw the sale sign.Felt sad that the place will be gone for good.I will keep those memories I had there in my heart..=)

Being My Own Boss

Had a taste of being my own boss for the past two days.Had a stall in the central forum selling bags, accessories and slippers all thanks to Priscilla, my ex sales executive who let me have the chance for being my own boss.Thanks.

She paid for the rental and provided me with the goods.We managed to earn a profit of $30 during these two days.Even though the amount is small, but it felt good to know that you have made a profit.Learn quite alot of stuffs from this experience and one thing for sure, I love being my own boss!!! =)

Witnessed something horrible yestday.A guy push his gf down into the track. The gal landed in the middle of the track.Whats worst is that the train was around 30 seconds away from her.Luckily shes alert enough to run to the other side of the track if not...

I couldnt imagine what will happen to her if shes not alert enough.She would have been killed right in front of me.I was traumatized by the whole incident that I almost cried out loud and stoned at one corner while he gave chase after that guy.Shoulnt go on further about what happen next.Read the papers and you will know what exactly happpened.

We were the witness and might be needed to testify in the court.I dun like the attention given on us due to this incident.Reporters have been calling him up.People have been flaming him on his blog.Suddenly we became the attention.I dun like it.Hope that this incident will be over soon and we can go back to our normal life.

Magic is finally one year old. Had a mini celebration for him at Pet Movers. Both Human and dogs were invited to his celebration. Ordered both human and dog food catering for the celebration, but in the end only the humn food catering was available. We ordered the cake and the doggy treats from US doggie.Their services sucked big time. They promised to deliver the food at 3pm but in the end they only delivered it at 5pm. Was supper pissed off.They called uptumeen times to change the delivery timing. From 3pm to 3.45pm to 4.15 to 4.30 and finally 5pm.Is this the way to run a business?? If they continue to run their business in this way, I bet they wont survive long. Thought we are having the GEMS champaign now?? But Why arent they practicing it???

In the end we left the place without the doogy treats and cake. Luckily I bought a cheesecake for Magic the previous night. If not poor magic wont have a cake for his birthdaY.

Girl's Night Out

Met up with the gals for dinner and coffee section for the night.

Dinner was at Raffles City food court.Everyone was on tight budget so we decided to have it at the food court instead of New York New York followed by coffee section at citylink TCC.

Had a mini belated celebration for Irene.Happy belated birthday, gal.The rest of the night was spent at TCC chit chatting and blue toothing, sending pics and songs.

Busy Sat

Had a busy Saturday.Went to a few places.Harbour front,Comex Fair and Geylang.

Went to harbour front in the afternoon to get his acerbelle exchanged.We got his acerbelle exchanged and the funny thing was that they dun do a totally 1 to 1 exchanged.Yar, they got the laptop exchanged but thats excluding the accessories and the battery.Was wondering why couldnt they just exchanged the whole thing.Isnt changing the whole thing easier rather than switching here and there?

Well, they have their own policy and they provided a good service despite us being so troublesome.So shall excuse them for once.

Next,we head down to Expo for the Comex Fair.The place was very crowded.Expected.Walk around the place and managed to get the stuffs we wanted.Got a 1GB thumbdrive for myself while he got a mouse,cooling pad and a laptop vacuum cleaner.

Wanted to take a look at the digicam but the place was too packed.Manged to get some leaflets of the digicams I want.Have a few in mind.Oh yar bumped into Soon, my jc vball senior and Qinhao,my sec classmate.Both of them are working there as a computer accessories promoter and Acer promoter respectively.

Geylang was our last destination of the day.I was craving for Geylang's 油条 so I pestered him to bring me there.He was kind enough to bring me there despite disliking to go there at such a timing.So there we are having an early supper at around 10 plus at the famous 油条大王.Yummy yummy!!!
