It had been a long time since I had made so much eye contact with anyone.

All thanks to the game 'murderer'.

It reminded me of those drinking sessions in chalet during schooling time

Where murderer was the most common game played.

Those were the days where 5-10, direction and dice were still alien to me.

Happy!!! Shalala!!! Its so nice to be happy!!!

Am feel happy today..=)

Few things to rejoice about.

Firstly, The salary review was approved.

I gotten what I wanted.

Finally I'm worth market value..haha.

Secondly, I finally satisifiated my cravings for Thai Express over the weekends.

Tom Yum Crayfish glass noodles.

Tofu Sqaures.

Spicy drumlets.

Deep fried squids.

Thailand Iced Milk Tea.

Yummy!!!

Lastly my online clothes have arrived.

New clothes for the week.

Met up with the JC gang for high tea as Mingsheng and Audrey will be leaving Sg.

Mingsheng will be leaving for France for a few months.

While Audrey will be leaving for Germany.

Somehow its true.

Kind Soul Do Exist...

Just got back my wallet from Comfort Headquarter this morning.

I'm so happy and relief !!

Had dropped my wallet on the cab on Thurs wee morning while on the way to ECP to look for the guys.

I didnt even realised that I had dropped my wallet on the cab.

I only came to realise that I had lost my wallet yesterday morning while preparing for work.

All the while I thought I had left my wallet at Lighthouse.

As it is the last place where I took out my wallet to pay for the drinks.

Yonghao had paid for the cab fare when we reached ECP.

And he sent me home tat night.

Thus I kept thinking that I had dropped it at lighthouse.

It never occurred to me that it had dropped out of my bag during the cab ride.

So I never did bother to call the cab companies to check it out.

Furthermore I had forgotten which cab we took.

Instead I waited until 6pm last evening to call Lighthouse to check out.

I called them twice but no one answered.

Shortly after, the customer service from comfort called me to inform me that they have my wallet with them.

I was so relief and happy when I heard about it.

I'm not worried about the money or the cards inside my wallet.

I'm worried about my IC.

I dun wish to pay $100 over for a replacement.

And I'm afraid of people misusing my IC.

Luckily it didnt land in the hands of bad guys.

Apparently the taxi driver had picked it up and sent it back to the HQ.

Went and picked up the wallet this morning.

Everything was intact.

Not a thing missing.

Thanks Mr Taxi driver for picking up my wallet and returning it.

You are such a kind soul.

Who says kind soul doesnt exist?

Desperate Housewives Night Out...

Sini, Jolene and Me were labeled as the desperate housewives.

All thanks to Jolene who came up with such name.

Dun know why she came up with such a name.

Anyway its our first gals nigh out last night.

Had dinner at the famous Ba Tuk Teh @ Boat Quay.

I still think Marsiling and Johor Ba Tuk Teh are the best.

After dinner, we proceeded to Boat Quay for our drinks.

We stopped first at Darts for our drinks.

But left after one jar of beer,

As we couldnt stand the singing of the ah peks inside.

Horrible + Terrible singing!

We proceeded to lighthouse next where we spent the rest of the night there.

Had some "discount" @ Lighthouse.

We ordered 4 jugs of beer in total.

But they only charged us for 2 jugs of beer.

Think they overlooked the 2 jugs of beer we had earlier on.

Anyway its too late for us to point out the mistake.

As we only realised it after we left the pub. =p

The Desperate Housewives...

Happy Birthday, Magic !!

The naughty retriever turns 3 today.

Held a mini celebration for him.

Bought him a cake from bakers' grub.

Honey Buney Cake.

Honey is supposed to be an anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal substance, a nutritive
sweetener and a good energy source for the dogs.

I must say that bakers' grub do provide good services.

As I ordered honey buney cake which has cream on it,

its best to consume it fresh.

They baked the cake specially in the early afternoon,

so that I can collect it in the late afternoon.

How sweet of them.

They also give me tips on how to keep the cake fresh.

And they even bother to sms me that night to ask hows the cake

And whether my dog likes it.

Of coz, Magic likes it.

He ate all of the strawberries on the cake and half of the cake. =)

How time files.

Magic has been with us for 3 years.

From a small weak 3 mth old puppy,

To a healthy grown up dog.

I'm glad that we have him. =)

Feeling Good

I'm feeling good =)

Enjoyed myself on Friday night.

Went to the Wine company @ Dempsey with Sini, Vincent, Yonghao and Ah Hui.

As usual we had 4 bottles of wine.

Chatted and played games thru out the 4 bottles of wine.

Oh yar, we had the all time favorite too, Spinach Pizza.

Yummy!!

Proceed to Fly with Yonghao to join Ah Lai and Celine after that.

The 38 gang minus joleen reunited at Fly that night.

The poor gal is at work..=(

Its feel good to see the gals again.

Havent been seeing them much lately.

Enjoyed myself that night..=)

I just have to figure out the way to elaine's place to have the cake collected tml.

Inner Thoughts

Suddenly the enthusiasm and excitement over Magic's birthday celebration died down.

Changes...

I finally revamp my blog after so long.

I photoshop the header all myself.

Though its just some minor editing here and there.

But for a photoshop idiot like me, its a tough job.

Besides having to explore all the tools, I have to endure with the auto shut down of my lappy.

Causing me to redo everything again and again.

Think its time to send it for repair before it really say goodbye to me.

Closed my blog for a few weeks due to the revamp of the blog.

And also to sit down and think what I really want in my life.

At the age of 24, it seems like I have yet achieve anything except for a degree, which isnt a big thing nowadays.

Compared to my gfs who have excellent jobs, stable relationships and having their own cars.

I'm far behind them.

Though I have a stable job and on my way to attempt my TP for the 2nd time in Nov.

Well, I failed my 1st attempt quite badly =(

I have made up my mind in certain aspect of my life.

Just hope everything can go according to plan.

Life still has to go on.

Bad week

I dun know where to start.

All I know is that I had a bad week.

Had been enduring everything.

Until I couldnt take it anymore that I started to throw tempers.

Found myself breaking down a few times this week.

I had been trying my best to accommodate everything.

But I guess everyone is hard to please.

I cant never reach expectations.

It makes me wonder am I really that bad??

Sometimes it makes me feel useless.

I know of times when someone did appreciated the hard work and efforts that I have made.

And I really appreciate it.

But perhaps the crude remarks always made me overlook the good things.

It didnt help much when i'm feeling sick.

The stupid cough is back again.

Lets welcome a new friend, Mr Flu.

Wish there is somebody to take care of me.

I need a shoulder to lean and cry on.

I'm tired.

I'm missing magic, my naughty golden retriever.

I missed having him laying his head on my laps and chest.

I missed how he always tried to squeeze with me on the sofa.

Found myself always thinking of him whenever I'm feeling down.

How pathetic I am.

To be missing a dog instead of a person.

Its scary what alcohol can do to people.

Blur Blur Starhub...

Starhub customer care service is dreaming!!!

Called up starhub customer service on wed to have my max online terminated.

Told the customer service personnel that I wanted an immediate termination as my singnet broadband will be activated the next day.

Was told that the earliest they would terminate is tml and the latest will be on sat.

Fine. I'm okie with the arrangement.

Was asked why I wanna terminate my plan.

I told them becoz I signed up with singnet as they offered better promotions.

One would have thought that they have noted the remarks

And so I happily hanged up the phone.

Guess what.

They didnt terminate the plan as promised.

Found out from my mum that the customer service called on sunday night to ask when we want to terminate the plan and the reasons for terminating it.

What the hell.

Thought I already informed them and gave my reason.

Dreaming ar??

Was pissed off.

It seems like they never take customer request seriously.

If not,

There's lack of communication in the customer service department.

M1 disappointed me.

Starhub too.

I'm left with Singtel.

You better dun disappoint me!!

Movie Week...

Its a week of movies for me.

Its been a long time since I stepped into cinema.

Hmm few months??

Didnt know that Cathy linked up with UOB.

Thought they linked up with Citibank.

UOB credit cards are entitled to purchase the tickets at $6 per ticket on weekdays and $8 on weekends.

Which is $1.50 and $2.50 cheaper than the regular pricing.

Plus every ticket is entitled to one free medium size popcorn.

Good Deal right?

Sounds like I'm the endorser for UOB card. hehe.

Anyway back to the topic.

Caught Get Smart and Hancock on Monday and Sunday respectively.

Both are action packed comedies.

Prefer Get Smart to Hancock.

Find that Hancock doesnt has a good storyline.

Its a story about a super hero who has a very bad tempered and unconstructive.

I actually find the movie quite lame.

Coz somehow I find no connection between the scenes.

Whereas on the other hand,

I can relate to Get Smart

As the movie flow smoothly.

No sudden disconnection from one scene to another.

5 thumbs up for Get Smart.

2 thumbs up for Hancock.

Which movie next??

I still didnt manged to lay my hands on the Nachos!!!!

Had an early celebration on Sat @ Fly with the usual drinking and clubbing kharkis.

I managed to tahan until 3am before i'm totally gone.

Not bad hor.

For the fact that I started drinking at 8.30pm!!! Hehe.

We sure can drink man.

Finished up the Hennessy cannon and 4 bottles of Hennessy in a night.

真是一群酒鬼.

Thanks to those that turned up that night.

A special thanks to Tommy and Seleen who took care of me when I'm gone

And sent me home safely.

Not forgetting Ah Pui Uncle oso for taking care of me too and the Hennessy bottles.

I know I made you paiseh outside Station Kitchen.

But you oso made me paiseh before at St James mah.

So we are even =p

Enjoyed myself that night.

Thanks people for making that night an enjoyable one.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all Fathers!!!

Took daddy out for dinner to celebrate Father's Day.

Had dinner at Happy Kampong Seafood at Jalan Malu-Malu.

We had pork ribs, cereal prawns, fish maw soup , samba kangkong and their famous toufu.

Was disappointed with the food there.

Among all the five dishes,

I only like the samba kangkong and cereal prawns.

They were the only dishes that are tasty.

The fish maw soup and toufu are tasteless.

The pork ribs just didnt taste right.

So what the price are reasonable,

The food are tasteless!!!

Its just not worth.

Friends

It makes one feels good to know that friends do cherish their friendship with you.

Zion Rd Wanton Mee

Happened to be at Zion Rd this afternoon,

so decided to pop by the coffee shop opposite Zion Riverside Food Centre for lunch.

Had been craving for their wanton mee for a long time.

They served great wanton mee there!

I'm not a fan of wanton mee

but this particular stall has me coming back for more.

Their noodle is very Q!!!

I like. =)

Besides the standard wanton mee,

this stall also served their wanton mee with roasted duck for the price of $4 per plate.

If you have a big appetite,

I suggest you should try ordering a bigger portion.

Coz the $4 portion is just nice for a small appetite like me.

Do give it a try if you happen to be at that area.
