Finally its Friday

Finally I dont have to go to school today!!!

Its the mid term break but I have been going back to school everyday since Monday except for today and I have been staying in school longer than my school days.Had been reaching school at around 11am almost everyday for project discussions staying until 4 plus.Stayed until almost 8pm yesterday.Can u believe that I had spent 10 hours in school during my holidays??Whats worst is that I have to run in between project discussions.Luckily I dont have to spend my friday in school.Thank god.

Went for eye brow trimming and underarm waxing this afternoon.This is the first time I'm doing underarn waxing.Went to Charme which is located at Far East Plaza.Had been going there regularly for my eye trimming.Love their services.

They have very good services there.They even helped me to pluck out those tiny weey hair that were left after the waxing.So xi xin.The pain from the waxing was bearable but the pain from the plucking were unbearable..But its worth it..=)

Its mahjong session again for tonight.They are still playing while I'm blogging away.
My cards for today were quite okie.In one of the game I have 4 animals and the best part was that I won!!!=) At least my luck is improving.Had been losing recently.Lady luck please come to me.

Oh yar went to MS that other day for site visit and I passed by MW,My once second home.Saw the sale sign.Felt sad that the place will be gone for good.I will keep those memories I had there in my heart..=)

Being My Own Boss

Had a taste of being my own boss for the past two days.Had a stall in the central forum selling bags, accessories and slippers all thanks to Priscilla, my ex sales executive who let me have the chance for being my own boss.Thanks.

She paid for the rental and provided me with the goods.We managed to earn a profit of $30 during these two days.Even though the amount is small, but it felt good to know that you have made a profit.Learn quite alot of stuffs from this experience and one thing for sure, I love being my own boss!!! =)

Witnessed something horrible yestday.A guy push his gf down into the track. The gal landed in the middle of the track.Whats worst is that the train was around 30 seconds away from her.Luckily shes alert enough to run to the other side of the track if not...

I couldnt imagine what will happen to her if shes not alert enough.She would have been killed right in front of me.I was traumatized by the whole incident that I almost cried out loud and stoned at one corner while he gave chase after that guy.Shoulnt go on further about what happen next.Read the papers and you will know what exactly happpened.

We were the witness and might be needed to testify in the court.I dun like the attention given on us due to this incident.Reporters have been calling him up.People have been flaming him on his blog.Suddenly we became the attention.I dun like it.Hope that this incident will be over soon and we can go back to our normal life.

Magic is finally one year old. Had a mini celebration for him at Pet Movers. Both Human and dogs were invited to his celebration. Ordered both human and dog food catering for the celebration, but in the end only the humn food catering was available. We ordered the cake and the doggy treats from US doggie.Their services sucked big time. They promised to deliver the food at 3pm but in the end they only delivered it at 5pm. Was supper pissed off.They called uptumeen times to change the delivery timing. From 3pm to 3.45pm to 4.15 to 4.30 and finally 5pm.Is this the way to run a business?? If they continue to run their business in this way, I bet they wont survive long. Thought we are having the GEMS champaign now?? But Why arent they practicing it???

In the end we left the place without the doogy treats and cake. Luckily I bought a cheesecake for Magic the previous night. If not poor magic wont have a cake for his birthdaY.

Girl's Night Out

Met up with the gals for dinner and coffee section for the night.

Dinner was at Raffles City food court.Everyone was on tight budget so we decided to have it at the food court instead of New York New York followed by coffee section at citylink TCC.

Had a mini belated celebration for Irene.Happy belated birthday, gal.The rest of the night was spent at TCC chit chatting and blue toothing, sending pics and songs.

Busy Sat

Had a busy Saturday.Went to a few places.Harbour front,Comex Fair and Geylang.

Went to harbour front in the afternoon to get his acerbelle exchanged.We got his acerbelle exchanged and the funny thing was that they dun do a totally 1 to 1 exchanged.Yar, they got the laptop exchanged but thats excluding the accessories and the battery.Was wondering why couldnt they just exchanged the whole thing.Isnt changing the whole thing easier rather than switching here and there?

Well, they have their own policy and they provided a good service despite us being so troublesome.So shall excuse them for once.

Next,we head down to Expo for the Comex Fair.The place was very crowded.Expected.Walk around the place and managed to get the stuffs we wanted.Got a 1GB thumbdrive for myself while he got a mouse,cooling pad and a laptop vacuum cleaner.

Wanted to take a look at the digicam but the place was too packed.Manged to get some leaflets of the digicams I want.Have a few in mind.Oh yar bumped into Soon, my jc vball senior and Qinhao,my sec classmate.Both of them are working there as a computer accessories promoter and Acer promoter respectively.

Geylang was our last destination of the day.I was craving for Geylang's 油条 so I pestered him to bring me there.He was kind enough to bring me there despite disliking to go there at such a timing.So there we are having an early supper at around 10 plus at the famous 油条大王.Yummy yummy!!!

Naughty Me...

I did something naughty just now.=p

I was changing the bedsheet and making the bed when Magic decided to take a rest on the dirty bedsheet which I have thrown on the floor.Upon seeing him laying so comfortable on the dirty bedsheet, a naughty thought strike me.

I threw the dirty quilt cover which I was holding on on him.The quilt cover covered him entirely.I think it stunned him alittle coz he panicked abit.He didnt even dare to move much with the quilt cover over him.He even did the commands which I gave him obediently without much hesitation. Normally he will hesitate but this time round he did all the commands immediately.The whole scene was so hilarious.That I couldnt stop laughing..=)

Okie okie..I know I was bad to be laughing at him.But the whole scene was so cute and funny that I couldnt control my laughters.Anyway I didnt make him stay for long under the quilt cover.I let him off after 5 mins and he wriggled out of the quilt cover in split seconds.Thats fast!!!

Hp dead

I'm here to announce that my nokia 7260 is dead!!!!

The stupid me got the phone all wet making it not workable anymore despite giving it a nice blow to dry it.

Went to the nokia care centre with the intention to get the phone repair on Wednesday.Brought along my warranty card.I thought i could cheat my way through by filling up the date of purchase myself.Little did I expect that Nokia has become so clever that all they have to do is to key in the IEM of the phone and they could check for the date of purchase instead of the conventional way, by looking at the date of purchase on the warranty card.

My warranty for the phone has expired.It will cost between $80-$200 to get it repair and on top of that I have to pay an admin fee of $26 in regardless of whether the phone can be repaired.

Well,forget about it.I shall survive on his 6260 first before getting a new phone.Poor him,has to survive on the antique 6510 for the time being.Thanks for that scarifice.

Oh yar,mummy even manage to sell that phone for $120!!! What a good baragin.

Sadness

Saw his msn nick.
Couldnt help but feeling upset about it.
I once had it all.
A wonderful guy, a bunch of good friends and a family.
Friends and family like him.
They all clicked well.
Thats the most wonderful thing on Earth.

No one had ever try to please my friends and family.
But he did.
He made them feel comfortable.
Calling friends over whenever theres an event.
Coming to my house for dinners despite knowing that mummy will nag at him.
His efforts made me feel loved and I appreciated it greatly.
Though I never ever say it out to him.

I destroyed this prefect picture.
Now each of it stands individually.

Had a talk with daddy just now about this.
It was a good one.
He listened to me patiently.
He didnt scold or was upset about such decision.
Instead he was supportive.
An action which stunned me.
He gave me some advises.
Asking me to believe and have confident in myself.
Feel good after the talk.
I like talking to him.
If only I could talk to mummy this way.

The road ahead will be a tough and bumpy one.
I'm prepared to brace through it with him.
Hopefully this time round love will be beautiful.

School started

School has started about a week.

I hate to admit.But I'm begin to fall in love with school!!I cant believe i'm saying this.

Have been waking up on time for lessons.Even for my 9am lessons.Its very rare for a late queen like me to be able to wake up on time.Its a miracle that I have been able to do this.Be it waking up at 10am for 12m lesson or 6.30am for 9am lessons.I'm proud to say that I have done it...=)

School has been good so far. I got all the modules which I wanted.Taking 2 business modules: product and brand management and HR module.2 real estate modules:research and practice and advanced valuation and 1 new media module.

Attended all the introductory lectures and they were good.Found myself listening attentively to the lectures.Something which I had to admit that I havent been doing well for the past 3 years in school.Have the tendency of daydreaming during lectures but so far this hasnt been occuring.

Have been toying with the idea of joining the NUS Dance Blast!. A dance club which specialises in hip hop,R and B and modern dance.But think have to go through some kind of aduition.hmm should I or should I not??

A long week

Had a long and tiring week. The whole of last week was packed with activities.

Wed

Movie.Dinner.Mahjiong.Supper.

Watched The Lake House.Its the English version of Il Mare.A nice and heartwarming movie.Its definitely worth watching it.Dinner was at some Italian cafe located in Middle Road.A place with nice ambiance and food.The food was of reasonable pricing.But somehow something is missing or wrong??Went to Stephen's house for mahjiong followed by supper at our usual place,The Prata House.

Fri

Met up with the gals on Friday for dinner at NYDC.Did some catching up.As usual we settled down for coffee session after dinner.Wilson joined us for coffee after his work.Had lots of good comments about my hair.People say I look good with my new hairdo.Felt happy about it...=)

Mahjiong.Pubbing.Clubbing

Mahjiong started at late evening at Stephen's house.I won..hehe.Went to Suntec to look for my cousin,Xiufang before heading to the KTV pub together.Saw Jinlong.It happened that he is XF's sec classmates.The world is so small.

We went to some pub in kitchener's road to join her friends.The placed was filled with aunties and uncles think we are the only youngsters there.They played lots of oldies unlike other pubs.Left the place at around 2am.Was supposed to join another cousin of ours at MOS after the pub session but he was already on his way home as most of his friends were drunk when we were done.We decided to head down to MOMO instead since its still early.Its the first time I dressed so causally to club.A tee shirt,shorts and sandals.

Our paths crossed once again.

I bumped into him at MOMO.Was telling him that JL was my cousin friend when he told me that he and JL are back on talking terms. Glad to hear that..=). Had been feeling guilty about this matter coz I dun think its worth it for them to end their friendship becoz of me.But anyway I'm glad that things are okie between him and JL and the both of us are back to talking terms too.

Sun

The day was spent sleeping in.Dinner was with him.His treat.Had a nice sumptuous dinner.Had kang kong,black pepper crab,hotplate tofu and fried squid.Think we ordered too much that I left my plate of rice almost untouched so as to finish up the dishes, though I couldn't finish what I promised to as usual.I'm happy that we are able to catch up like old friends and I managed to suppress my feelings this time round.

National DAY eVE Celebration

Spent my National Day Eve at Zouk.The purpose of going to Zouk was not to celebrate National Day but to celebrate Junyao's ORD.Congrts dude.Finally get to see your pink I.C....hehe

Music for the night-Hip hop at Zouk and House Music at Phuture.We had a variety of drinks.From shots to jugs to flaming labogini,tequila pop and finally beer.The crowd was okie.Not rowdy and the place was not too packed.Just nice.

Left around 3 plus and bumped into Ken at the entrance.Its such a surprise he still recongise me with my permed hair.Still as handsome as before.Hes the first male cabin crew I have as friend.Not bad hor...hurhur.Hope everything will be okie for him.

Oh yar I had a strange dream this morning.I dreamt of him.In the dream he met with an accident and was in coma.My family and his family were there at the hospital.I saw my dad and ah gong crying for him and they keep asking me to wake him up.Even if i'm at my work place they will ring me up and ask me to come down to the hospital quickly to wake him up.

When I woke up i was feeling weird about the dream.I was thinking why on earth my dad and ah gong were crying so badly for him??I never see my dad cried in real life but I could see tears flowing from his eyes in the dream.Why are they pushing me to wake up him up???Hes just a friend and why are they grieving so much for him??Duh...Its really weird.

Busy week

Had long and busy week last week so the day was spent resting at home.

Had a nice long chat with Terence on MSN.He was asking how i was doing and I told how I feel.He gave me some advises and I followed it.It always feel good talking to him..=)
A greater listener and adviser.

These 8 years of friendship is definitely worth it and lets celebrate our 10 years of friendship in 2 years time...=)

Moody me.

Was feeling abit down for the past few days.Did managed to brush it off for the past few days.But today it got worst.The feeling was too strong to be brushed off.I was feeling moody.

My mind and heart decided to betray me today by having images of him flashing in my mind and creeping into my heart.

What the heck Gen.Why are you thinking of him??You shouldnt be stopping your feet.You should be marching on.You have been doing good and why are you stopping now???Get up on your feet and move on.Be a good gal.

I have been doing okie all these while.Moving on.But it seems that I will stop once in awhile to look back and I have choosen today to be the day.Think it will take me sometime to completely move on and having to smile at myself when I look back.

I believe time will heal the wounds and I will continue to move on.

Fast and Furious

Caught Fast and Furious today.A movie with nice and fast cars and a weak storyline.A movie which I called the English version of Initial D.

The story is about how this guy came to stay in Tokyo with his dad becoz he always get into trouble with the law due to his racing habits.The purpose of sending him to Tokyo was to get away from racing but he in the end he still got into trouble with it.Thats irony.

Think the tracks they raced in the movie was the same as those in Initial D.Think is the jiu lian wan.It somehow reminded me of the so called racing days with Tomy.Driving a nice and powerful car on the road especially in the midnight isnt a good thing.It somehow draws unnecessarily attention such as having people to challenge you on the road.Guys are guys.They cant be challenged.So off we go racing...Vroom Vroom.

Verdict:3 stars on the account of those fast and nice cars despite the weak storyline..=)

Wanted to catch the fireworks since today marks the opening of the fireworks festival.But decided to give it a miss in the end since Kang wei is meeting his friends for ktv while I'm meeting hj for ktv too.Left after he sent me to the station.

I caught a bit of the fireworks when I went to the wrong oultet of party world.Look, thats how blur of me..=p.They were at the che re zi jia outlet in chinatown while I went to the shenton way outlet.I wasnt to blame.Its a miscommunication.You see stephen msg me saying they are at party world maxwell road,refering to the chinatown outlet.Well the party world shenton way happened to be located at maxwell road.Thinking he was refering to the shenton way outlet i went there.Only to found out it was the wrong place.But its a disguse in blessing coz I managed to catch the fireworks though its just for a short while...Love fireworks...=)

Supper was at maxwell market and home sweet home. Had a tiring day.Good nite.

Sentosa

Went sentosa today.Was being dragged along.Someone wanted to suntan and being the one only available in his social circle, I was being dragged along.Everyone was either busy working or schooling while i'm the only one slacking around.Dun know whether to pity me or him.

Sentosa was packed today mainly due to the orientation going on in unis.School gonna starts soon and guess its the orientation week for them.

Called it quits after baking in the sun for the whole afternoon.

Joined Hj and Stephen at Chinatown for dinner.Dinner was at the Chinatown's food street.Followed by mahjiong at Stephen's place.I was craving for mahjiong this week...=)

We had 8 players for tonight (Stephen,hj,charm ming,grace.natailie,jarred,stanely and me) but only one table.We took turns to play the 2 rounds of mahjiong for the night.Me and Stanely shared a seat and we were the overall winners..=)

Supper was at the usual place-The prata house and it was on me and stanely.

I heard both sides of the stories

It all started becoz of me

And it makes me feel bad

I'm not trying to be a hypocrite

When I tried to make things up

It hurts to see that you are seeing things the other way

It shows that you dun understand me at all

Vulnerable and dependent on the other party

And concerns not being said out from the other party

Lead to the miscommunication

And misunderstandings

There's a chinese saying that said : Human tends to treat people who are good to them badly while treasuring those people who doesnt care about them as gold.

How true is this???Its for you to find out.

Lunch & MSN Chat

Lunch was at J8 Pastamina with Irene. Met her after her work and as usual I was late.

Students listen up!!!Flashed ur student card at Pastamina and you will enjoyed 30% discount off your lunch.It makes me feel good to be a student...hehe.Maybe thats the only good thing for being a student.You get to enjoy discounts and privileges..=)

Walked around J8 after our lunch.Wanted to buy a book but only to realise that MPH was no longer there.Took a little break at Haagen Dasz.Irene ordered 2 scoops of ice cream while I had some hot blended ice cream drink.It didnt taste nice.Too rich in chocolate.Maybe becoz i didnt really like sweet stuffs so this is too much for me to take it.

Evening came and we both headed home for dinner.

Was talking to Terence on MSN just now.

His ex called him up today.They have a nice long chat and it seems that they had some misunderstandings going on after they broke up and neither of them spoke about it. Letting the misunderstandings going on for a year.

It seems that she had been avoiding him after their break up thinking that he was together with her best friend which is not the case.She never confront either of them,just avoiding them.She merely assumed it.

I'm not too sure y it took her a year to finally called him up and asked him about it.Whatever the case is, I'm glad that they both cleared the misunderstandings and are back to friends again.Happy for the both of them. =)

Maybe its true that time really proves everything.

Hmm,maybe it will take him years to see things thru too.

oh yar, was talking to someone and was shocked at the things that the someone said regarding some stuffs.It never occurred to me that the someone will think this way.

It cause me to ponder whether am I too naive to think and treat everyone as a good soul without any ulterior motive or am I too young or inexperience to be able to read thru people???Whatever the case is,hopefully the things arent true if not it will be a sad case for a particular someone.

Well, it did taught me one thing. Never see things just by looking at the surface. There are more things hidden beneath it.

Bye straight hair.

After having straight hair for 20 years,I decided to have my hair permed.A tough decision.Think the question that runs into most gal's mind is whether will it turn out to be a disasterous.What if it turns out to be very ugly?? Thats the thing i'm worried too. Call me vain.But everyone wants to look good.

I finally plucked up my courage and went to have my hair permed today.Bye to my straight hair.Sat at the salon for 4 hours. Had my hair cut,wash,dyed and permed.Oh yar the permed which I had is called the digital spa perm and my hairstylist said it can last only for 2 months coz the curls are quite big.Well,I dont mind.As I only wanted some waves effect and not those small curls which look like maggie mee so it doesnt matter.

Now with my hair permed I will have to spend more time and money looking after it.More time is spend on twisting and twirling of my hair.More money on hair treatments and hair products.But it doesnt matter.Coz I love my new look..=)
